Marc is the owner of Indy Decorative Concrete. While working as a chef in 2007, Marc built IDC from the ground up doing side jobs. He is the ultimate example of “hard work pays off,” building a successful company from the ground up. The crews and sales team feed off of Marc’s leadership, as he is constantly running estimates, facilitating customer relationships, and working as an operator.
Marc is a graduate of T.C. Howe Highschool and obtained an associates degree from Joliet Community College. He succeeded on the football team at both levels. His claim to fame is being the last wrestling state qualifier for Howe Highschool. Marc has a Master’s Degree from FITFO. His favorite hobbies are all on the lake – boating, skiing, surfing, and fishing.
Jamie Roland has been happily married to her husband, Marc, since 1996. Together, they own and operate Indy Decorative Concrete, blending their talents in both business and family life. A graduate of Marian University with an accounting degree, Jamie manages the financial side of their business while cherishing time with family.
Marc and Jamie have two married children and three wonderful grandchildren who bring them endless joy. The family enjoys boating, traveling, and gathering for dinners at their favorite restaurants. Jamie loves planning vacations, discovering great local spots, and making every trip a special experience. She also enjoys reading, organizing, and creating a warm, welcoming home for loved ones to gather and make lasting memories.
Audrey has been working at Indy Decorative since 2019, after she graduated from Purdue University. The daughter of Marc and Jamie Roland, she has been involved in the company since it began in 2007. Audrey has had multiple roles in our company, including sales, customer relations, and now being the face (and sometimes voice) of IDC through radio and TV commercials. She really values the customer experience and always tries to make it better.
Audrey and her husband Joe have a one-year-old daughter named Isabella. They are members of St. Maria Goretti and have two doodles. Her hobbies include going on walks with the family, having friends over to hang out on the patio, and working in the garden!
Marc is a 2017 graduate of Roncalli High School and a proud alum of Purdue University, where he excelled in football and earned a degree in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Construction Management. As the son of Marc and Jamie Roland, he has been part of the family business since its establishment in 2007. Transitioning to a full-time role in 2020, Marc initially served as a field foreman. He later transitioned to production and logistics, and now excels in his current role as a salesman.
Marc thrives in this position with his breadth of knowledge and years of experience. He is a tremendous asset for us out in the field and in the office. His wife Izzy and him got married in 2023 and have one daughter, Scarlett. Marc’s favorite part of being in the company is seeing the before and after photos of our projects. His favorite hobby is boating.
Joe began working at IDC in 2020, and then married into the family a year later when he married Marc and Jamie’s daughter, Audrey. Joe is a graduate of Franklin College where he played four years of baseball and majored in Business Marketing and Management. Once a personal trainer, he joined Indy Decorative at the height of Covid and has never looked back.
Joe has led multiple crews, creates and maintains social media and website content, and has various skills we utilize such as caulking and patchwork. His favorite part of working at Indy Decorative is being able to see a backyard transformation from start to finish. A fun fact is that he was the cornhole champion of his high school and college.
Todd has been with Indy Decorative Concrete since 2015. Before working with us, Todd was self- employed at Complete Construction where he built homes. He has 40+ years of construction experience in various commercial and residential industries. His experience has been very valuable to us over the years, as he is truly a “Jack of all Trades.”
He has been in sales, lead multiple crews, and assists us in building and maintaining our locations. Todd is a graduate of Cathedral High School. His favorite part of working at Indy Decorative is the people he has built great relationships with over the years. He loves joking around with his coworkers and is never too serious.
Isabella has been working with Indy Decorative for over two years now. In her role as the primary point of contact, she takes care of various things for homeowners such as the HOA applications, permitting, and utility marking. She maintains an efficient process so that the customer experience with us will be painless and smooth!
She is a graduate of Roncalli High School and began working here shortly after school. Her favorite part about working for Indy Decorative is the positive attitude she is surrounded by and the experience she has gained for her future. Isabella enjoys exercise, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family. A fun fact is that she knows more about concrete than she ever thought she would.
Jesus has been working here since 2015. He and his family have helped build a hard-working culture at Indy Decorative that has spread throughout our crews over the years. Jesus is one of our most (if not most) skilled workers, and can get done anything you ask of him. He has specialized as leader of the seal crew most years, where he has great attention to detail and craftsmanship. We value his opinion on our process, and trust in his experience in the field.
<p.His favorite part of working at Indy Decorative is he enjoys working for Marc and Jamie and appreciates all of the people he has met here over the years. A fun fact about Jesus is that he is in a band with his brother that performs every weekend of the year.
JD started working with IDC in March of 2023, and in a short amount of time has become valuable in several different roles with our company. JD is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree from the Kelley School of Business in Marketing and Professional Sales. His current roles revolve around managing all production, including scheduling jobs, coordinating with customers, and maintaining inventory needed to keep our operation running optimally.
JD considers himself our very own meteorologist, constantly tracking weather to prepare our workers and the homeowners of potential challenges day to day. On top of that he loves the people he works with, and the energy of our company culture. He appreciates that Marc and Jamie truly care about their employees, on a professional and personal level. His favorite hobby is hanging out with friends on the golf course and watching sports on the weekends.
Originally from Virginia, Jason has now been with Indy Decorative for two seasons. When he started at IDC in 2023, we gained an employee with loads of experience in the mason industry. Jason has been doing stamped concrete work for a decade, as well as pavers, stone masonry, and other hardscape products. His knowledge in construction has led to him being one of our most trusted employees in all facets of the job.
Jason leads our production at our Dayton, OH location. He was the ultimate “team player” when he decided to move out to Ohio with his family to help grow our business! His favorite part of Indy Decorative Concrete is the atmosphere, which he credits to the type of people that work here and the environment that Marc and Jamie have created. They have built a wonderful culture that has a product we all believe in. He appreciates the encouragement for growth that IDC promotes and hopes to continue up the ladder! Jason was a four-year varsity letter winner in golf at Colonial Forge Highschool.
Chris started working for IDC in August 2021. After graduating from Indiana University, Chris earned an estimator/sales position with us and hasn’t looked back. He has seen great success in this role, created by his passion for connecting with people and finding creative ways to help customers solve their problems. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Chris never expected to be a concrete professional.
He is thankful for the knowledge he has gained from the rest of our team, and now enjoys spreading his expertise to homeowners! Chris’s favorite part of working for Indy Decorative is the team around him. His favorite hobby is hanging out with family and friends on weekends. A fun fact about Chris is that he knows music from all different genres and time periods.
Matt has worked at Indy Decorative since 2021. Over the past couple of years, Matt has worked here during the summer months while getting his Bachelor of Science from the University of St. Francis. He joins our long list of athletes as a college football player, and as a varsity wrestler at Triton Central Highschool.
Now working at IDC full-time, Matt always brings a great attitude to work, and never complains about the task at hand. He is easy to get along with, and has an ability to bring his crew together through leading by example. His favorite part about working here is the before and after photos that he gets to take as leader of the seal crew. It is very rewarding to see the transformation that we can make to a homeowner’s backyard! His attention to detail is vital to that crew’s success.
