Pressure Wash & Seal Our Projects
Wash and Seal Maintenance
Sealing decorative concrete helps inhibit stains and protect from weather exposure while enhancing the color.
No type of flooring material is truly maintenance free and all concrete will require routine maintenance. Indiana’s harsh weather conditions will take a toll on decorative concrete causing it to dull and lose its sheen after time. Restore your concrete’s color luster and extend its service life by allowing us to pressure wash and re-seal your concrete.
We recommend re-sealing every year, but each individual project is different. The maintenance frequency largely depends on the amount of traffic the concrete receives and exposure to weather and chemicals. For a little extra traction we can add non-skid additives that are directly mixed into the sealer or broadcast skid resistant materials across the concrete surface just prior to sealing.
Care Instructions:
- For exterior surfaces, cleaning your concrete on occasion and keeping it sealed are the best measures you can take to keep it looking its best. Pressure wash or scrub using a mild detergent and broom for removal of debris, dirt, tree sap buildup and mineral deposits.
- While a sealer will help to protect concrete from stain absorption, it’s still a good idea to remove oil, gasoline, grease and other spills as soon as possible.
- Use care with chemicals and place foot protectors on furniture that might scrape or scratch the surface of your concrete.
